Welcome one and all to my first blog. You may know me from my Twitter account but if not let me introduce myself.
I’m Christine I turn 33 in 7 weeks time. I’m a Mom to 4 beautiful Children Rosie (14) , Stephen (10) , Joshua (6) & Darcey (2) , I support Aston Villa FC , I may not be perfect but I’m me.
If you follow me on Twitter one aspect of me you’ll know is that I’m a Labour Party supporter which I am honest about. In the last few weeks I’ve been absolutely dismayed to see “Dirty Politics” mud-slinging being committed by a tweeter Collette87 who is a Conservative supporter (I suspect from the time when everyone jumped on the “I love David Cameron” bandwagon from December 2005) about the Labour Party and this rather nasty uncalled for attack on our leader Ed Miliband “RT Collette87 Ed Milliband looks the most sleaziest horrible person #ilovedavidcameron“
I was horrified to read this but still the nasty bitching about my party goes on and I’m horrified that people agree with her completely inaccurate and downright dangerous thinking.
After she posted that uncalled for attack on Ed I retweeted to my followers I was surprised to see a reply waiting for me from the Science & Medical Editor for ITV News Lawrence McGinty , This was the response I had from Lawrence about Collette’s tweet
@DippyBint but he’s not.
#Milliband is straightforward and keen. Polite and considerate. Make your own minds up about his politics.
I apologised profusely to Lawrence about her tweet thankfully Lawrence didn’t unfollow me and accepted my apology.
I also totally loathe her love of the prized twat Kelvin Mckenzie who she proclaims “she loves as much as David Cameron and thats a lot”. She was only 2 when Hillsborough happened in 1989 and obviously doesn’t know or is totally ignorant of the hurt , lies and pain this man and his “paper” caused across Liverpool in the after-math of Hillsborough and still 22 years on he still refuses to apologise for the downright lies he printed causing heartache.
Right other things now. Today marks what would’ve been the 51st birthday of my ex-partner who was still my soulmate and best friend Clive Swingler.
Clive died suddenly on Saturday 8th November 2008 from a massive heart attack at his home in Torquay aged 48.
I was under 3 weeks away from giving birth to my 4th child but gave birth to Darcey Willow Burke just 3 days after Clive died.
I’m still coming to terms with losing him but I have the love of a gorgeous man W who makes everything better again and for that I’m thankful.
Happy Birthday King Clive.
Right I’ll post again at the weekend and I hope you enjoy my blog.
Comments are welcome.
Christine. xx
